J. Krandall is a self-published author from N.J. where she resides with her husband, her two<br \/>\nsons and two dogs. For more than twenty years she has enjoyed working with children as both<br \/>\na teacher and an aide. Now, a stay at home mom, she cares for her family and takes time to<br \/>\nenjoy other interests such as writing, traveling, art and photography. Growing up, her travels<br \/>\noften took her to the countryside with her family where even today she visits making new<br \/>\nmemories with her own children. It was back then as a child that her love for horror began as<br \/>\nshe watched movies and read books just for the &#8220;scare&#8221; factor. That, along with her real life<br \/>\nexperiences in the deep wooded areas, has inspired her to write scary stories of her own. With<br \/>\nher second book in the works, Fear Farm No Trespassers is S. J. Krandalls first book in what<br \/>\nshe hopes to be a series of short stories. It is geared towards young adult readers (15 and up)<br \/>\nand adults who just truly enjoy short scary stories.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Do you write in the same genre that you read?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Not all the time. A\u00a0majority of books I read are horror related, but I do read other genres.\u00a0I dig a good romance or mystery at times. I also like to read\u00a0autobiographies of musicians and other artists.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Do you have a writing schedule?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I try to have a writing schedule but I\u00a0seem to work best without one. My days are unpredictable so I write\u00a0when I can. I am a busy mom and I dabble in many creative\u00a0adventures, so I like to fit it all in.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Do you ever get writer\u2019s block? If so, how do you overcome it?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I do get\u00a0writer\u2019s block at times. That is when I know I need a break.\u00a0Sometimes stepping away from what I am working on is just what I\u00a0need. I overcome it by taking the time to get outside and enjoy nature\u00a0and other projects, this way I can think it through and let creative ideas\u00a0flow.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">What are you writing at the moment?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">At the moment I am working on\u00a0two stories. One is short story, but my main focus is book 2 for the<br \/>\nFear Farm series.
