The catalyst came in 2018, when I was asked to write up a development plan for my job. I really struggled with that, because I felt like the expectation was to strive to become middle management at that large corporation. And quite frankly, that wasn&#8217;t what I wanted. I knew what I REALLY wanted, and realized it was time to make it happen. I took a short story class to dust off the cobwebs, and I haven&#8217;t stopped writing since!<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Do you write in the same genre that you read? <\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">Yes. I read horror, thriller, mystery, crime fiction &#8212; and you&#8217;ll see all of that in my stories. Stephen King is my hero.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Do you have a writing schedule? <\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">As a single mom of two teenagers with a career, it can be hard to carve out the time to write. I&#8217;m generally an early riser and find I do my best writing in the mornings with a cup of coffee in hand.
