Having been encouraged to write by her husband, she produced her debut novel, Shea&#8217;s Saviour, throughout the first UK lockdown in 2020. Being active on social media, she got the idea for her upcoming release from a photo posted on Twitter, much the same as the inspiration for her third book.<\/div>\n<div>Lisa is an avid reader, her &#8216;go-to&#8217; authors being Karen Rose and Tess Gerritsen. When Lisa isn&#8217;t writing, she is a respiratory specialist and a mum to her three children, she gets many of her character names on advice from her family.<\/div>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Tells us about your writing\/ published book(s)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">My debut, Shea&#8217;s Saviour was born in late March 2020. My husband suggested I write something considering I&#8217;m always reading. The idea for my second book, Heading Home, just came from nowhere I believe, I just started writing and it ended with nearly 95k words. My youngest son, Dwayne, came to me with an idea for a book he wanted to write, he thought he was too young to write one but I told him otherwise. We then compiled The Life Of Lea, a story of acceptance and difference written for the younger generation. I wanted Shea to maybe have a love interest with Kyron but she had other plans. She can talk to the dead.
