How do you approach starting a new book?
Images appear to me and keep appearing until I know who the character is
What’s your favourite genre to read?
fiction with mystery and romance
Have you always wanted to write?
Yes, I wrote my first short story when I was four
What do you do when you have writer’s block?
I get up and go outside for a bit
Tell us about a scene that you loved but had to edit out of your book
It was part of the ending, when the main character begins to imagine what his life will be like
Do you like reading the same books you write?
Yes and no. I read fiction and non-fiction.

The title usually presents itself
What advice would you give to someone wanting to write their first book?
Work hard and don’t give up
Do you do research for your books? If so, what kind of research?
I research all of my books because I want to provide factual information
How do you fit writing into your everyday life?
It’s the beginning of my day, every day!
How do you approach ‘world building’?
I use images and research to help create a believable world
How do you handle criticism?
I try to ignore it, but I also pay attention in case there is helpful information there.
