My favourite books of 2021 – Triad/ Equinox by Brittany Weisrock
My favourite books of 2021
As part of the writing community, I get to read lots of books from relatively unknown authors. Let me tell you, this is such a pleasure and an honour. These days I find it difficult to pick up a traditionally published book after exploring the treasures in the world of self-publishing. From now until New Year’s Eve, I’m going to showcase my favourites. If your book is not on here, it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it. It’s been a very difficult decision choosing these books! They’re also not in any particular order.
Right, is that all my disclaimers out of the way with? I hope so!
Triad/ Equinox by Brittany Weisrock

My Reviews
If you haven’t read Triad and Equinox, then why not?! It’s an amazing steamy story about wolf triplets who are destined to save the world. According to a prophecy, Athena, Anders, and Atlas are going to save everyone. However, when Athena finds a human mate, Kalen, everything becomes a little more difficult! As their powers grow, the triad (and Kalen) fight to save the ones they love.
Seriously, you HAVE to read these books!
Triad
I’m counting down until book 2! What an ending.
This book has so many elements to it that all come together to make it such a brilliant read. Supernatural beings, family ties, prophecies, and love.
The relationship between Athena, Anders, and Atlas is lovely. They’re each their own person and yet they always have each other’s back. Athena is a bad ass alpha and nothing will stand in her way of protecting her family.
As a fan of romance books, I particularly enjoyed Athena and Kale’s relationship. The intensity burns on every page.
Triad is an exciting page-turner with family at the heart of it.
Equinox
Oh, wow! Where do I begin with how much I loved this book? Emotions, fights, family, and the one that got away. I loved seeing a different side to all the characters as they fight for peace amongst supernaturals and humans. My heart broke numerous times (especially towards the end) and a few tears were shed. Equinox is just as fast-paced and sexy as Triad, but the story takes on a whole new twist. Can the Triad save their future? The author is simply amazing at building suspense and the climax is always worth it! I can’t wait to see what the next book has in store. I’m looking forward to exploring Atlas a little more…
